Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
If it's wet - no change.
Wilkes was a one grab player last week when most other players were struggling to hold their marks.
Siposs played a great game for Sandy, uses the ball well (that alone should put him in contention) and should get the nod soon, maybe even this week ,,,
who for though ?

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
In: Kosi, Ledger
Out: Wilkes, Cripps.
Wilkes as an emergency as if Gibson does not play I would like to see us at least attempt to take advantage of that. Load up on talls as the other Hawk defenders have been shown up on occasion.
As the Hawks have had issues winning their own ball Polo stays in as he at least throws his body around in close. My god I cannot believe I found a reason for him to stay in...

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
IN: Gwilt, Siposs, Koschitzke, Saad.
OUT: Blake, Polo, McEvoy, Cripps.
Wilkes to remain in forward line with Kosi/Stanley to ruck. McEvoy to have a week off.
Siposs and Gwilt were way too classy for the VFL.
Gwilt to replace Blake.
Siposs to play on the wing.
I would like to see Milney push into the midfield/half forward and Saad given a go as a forward pocket crumber, although realistically I don't think he will debut yet. I think the defensive side of Saad's game is better than Cripps, however they are two different types of players with different roles in the team. I think Saad needs to be given game time in the midfield in the VFL to broaden his skills.
If Sam Dunell wasn't on the rookie list, he would be in the team this week.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Polo was one of our better players in the last quarter last week, on form I would drop Montagna. Gwilt should have a couple more games in the VFL yet, and I'm not sure about Siposs, I reckon another year off senior form yet.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Being wet i dont think we can go with Stanley McEvoy Kosi Roo and wilkes all in the same team
Comes down to match ups too but may not be any changes on form.
Depending on Wilkes tank perhaps Kosi for Stanley or Kosi misses out which form says no but don't give a sucker a break and gettign reported he did that.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Sounds like Wilkes is going out for Kosi.
I heard Watters on SEN saying Kosi is in the best form in five years ... which is true. Needs to keep it up

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Hope:
IN: Sippos, Ledger, Da Fro (if fit/ready).
OUT: Polo (unlucky), Gram (not unlucky), Blake (if Da Fro fit/ready - unlucky).
EMERG: (Alphabetical order) Kosi (unlucky), Newnes, Polo, Saad.
Expect:
IN: Kosi, Sippos.
OUT: Wilkes (incredibly unlucky), Cripps (unlucky).
EMERG: No idea. Maybe Wilkes, Cripps, Ledger, Saad???
SUB:
Whether the 'hope' or 'expect' - no idea.
NB: If it's wet, IMHO all the more reason to retain Wilkesy over Kosi. Wet would also push Polo's case (agree with 'Deemsy) but I'd still stay with the hoped for version as above regardless.
Also, since some on here think we are a certainly to get the younger BJ, then why wait, I'd rush him in this week too - don't care who for, we should clearly just play this guy...!

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Not the first person to suggest Stanley to CHB but I personally don’t like it.St Loxton wrote:Out - Blake
In - Kosi. ( Stanley to CHB )
Bit of a wild stab this week
Where Stanley has really impressed this year is his ability to get away from his opponent, whether it be leading up the ground or doubling back towards goals.
I think we’d lose a lot if we just expected him to follow an opposition forward around.
Re team selection I agree Kosi must come back in and therefore it’s likely that Wilkes will miss out.
IN: Kosi, Ledger
OUT: Wilkes, Cripps
However perhaps last week’s “sub error” may give them the idea to play all four talls and sub one off in the second half. If so perhaps
IN: Kosi, Ledger
OUT: Polo, Cripps
