Seriously, how can they judge the the impact level from grainy vision. Just because one guy (or girl) goes down and one doesn't , doesn't reveal the level of impact.
As for Monty, Magner pulled him down on top of him. How is that reckless on Monty's part?
The sooner we see the back of Demetriou, Anderson and Gieschen, the sooner we might get a better, fairer game and hopefully people who have a feel for it.
The impact is done on medical reports. And the level of impact should be taken into account. If 2 players punch 2 different people and it looks the same force do people seriously think both should get the same penalty if one is knocked out and the other player just laughs. Surely no one could think that way. I still dont see the issue. If he isnt guilty he will get off. 2 players have in the last 3 weeks.

Plenty have been asking for him to be dropped will be pleased no doubt.
Well if it is accidental they will challenge as he cant get anymore weeks. And if it accidental and we have smart people in charge he will get off. If he doesnt we either have dumb people helping our club or he is guilty.
Ok cause they "always" get it right, right?
Leigh Harvey Oswald would've loved u as support...
What really F@#$s my brain over is the inconsistency of the mrp.
Joey deserved 2 due to his recklessness and his poor record ( said on the night , he wont be playing next week ) , however if the magner didn't come off for the blood rule , joey might not have even been looked at .
Selwood deserved nothing for a powderpuff lovetap , yet lake did the same thing to simmo and gets a week !
and next week someone else may do the same thing , and get 2 weeks .
The mrp embody the afl hierarchy , i.e. they appear to make s*** up as they go along .

The next step is the tribunal. We get to put our case. I am sure if it is a good case then he will get off or is it better to think the whole thing is corrupt. Strange way for people to think.

Crappp...wake up and smell the roses you tool
Great stuff. What grade did you get taught that? Just before you left in grade 6 or just after they kicked you out.
f***** double standard cheating dogs. I just spat out my tea when I heard Joey 2 weeks. I seriously was waiting to see a incident I'd missed during the game. This takes the cake FFS don't try and justify this as anything but a disgrace. What it does do is further prove the double standards of the AFL.

Just saw the supposed incident on the news and I was watching it and all of a sudden he goes down, but I didn't see Joey actually do anything, so I'm still none the wiser what he's been rubbed out for. Either it happened so fast that I missed it, or the footage didn't show it very well.
Looking forward to seeing it in slow-mo or a couple more times, so that I can actually see what was so bad he's gotten two weeks.

Ken Sheldon has offered to help out at the tribunal
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?
What is everyone upset about. Joey is not going to be missed over the next couple of weeks anyway. I'm sure there are plenty of players at Sandy that can cruise around and avoid the hard stuff just as well.
From what I saw real time and taking a look at it on the video, I thought it was accidental and thought Magner may have aided in causing it. It looks like Magner fell to ground holding onto Joey's jumper hence taking Joey down with him, the fall accidentally caused Joey's knee to connect with Magner's cheek. Anyone else think it was Monty's knee?

I knew spankers like you would chime in…
Playing as a forward he is
5th for tackles…
4th for disposals…
3rd for rebound 50's…
2nd for inside 50's…
If you think Siposs's 5 kicks next week are better than Montagna's 25 then all power to you.
If we challenge and we lose he gets an extra week.
The replay shows that the Melbourne player pulled Leigh down as he fell. The point of contact with the eye is not shown, but the Melbourne player did not hit himself. A camera angle from the other side would show this contact, but may not be available. There is enough doubt to get most players off.

Accidental? Magner had to go off under the blood rule. Looked like a jumper punch that went too far. Joey needs a decent foot up the bum for getting himself into that situation !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
