After being canned all week, it was obvious melbourne would come out firing. I think they would have pushed any side in the afl last night in those slippery conditions. This was a good win on a night when an upset was on the cards. It is always dangerous to play a side that has no won a game.

that's a weird thing to say. usually sides that haven't won a game are no good, so it should be less dangerous to play them than anyone else in the comp, surely?

Well it depends how they respond. Good teams will want to make amends, especially after their poor second half. We better be up for the challenge.

In years gone by we would have lost a game like that but two leaders stepped up and led us to the win
