Is Gram playing on n.jones... appear to be before the clearance of his last goal and dropped right off him.. needs to tighten up to keep his spot!

First game back for a while but he still soft and doesn't work hard enough - a show pony is how you describe him!

Whats with the lower arm tattoo on Gram....it's as woeful as his kicking.....
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Go as far as to say it is worse than his kicking......bobmurray wrote:Time to move some of these list cloggers on...WinnersOnly wrote:First game back for a while but he still soft and doesn't work hard enough - a show pony is how you describe him!

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Re: Gram
He just doesnt do the hard stuff you need - no way he commits 100% to the contest.
FFS play Ledger - sure, his output today in VFL wasnt huge but hes been the best kid all pre season and cant get a run.
Gram is back up only.

Re: Gram
Was just typical Gram of the past few years. Didn't work particularly hard and blindly bombed the ball whenever he got it. Not sure why he's in the side. With so much emphasis on contested footy and clean disposal he is a liability

Have to disagree slightly... his commitment to the 1%'ers and doing the team thing is...saintkid wrote:Nothing is as bad as his kicking.
I've been a big fan, but I've run out of patience, and sadly I now reckon Grammy's time is up. If he's not prepared to perform the one percenters on a night like tonight, then I can't see him ever being prepared to...
And he's supposedly taking up a fair chunk of our salary cap(?) Fair enough if he'd gone on with his 2009 GF performance, but...
It's Dave, man. Will you open up? I got the stuff with me! -------Who?

Re: Gram
Never been a Gram fan but thought it was a solid first game back. Has time when he gets the pill and laid a few good tackles.

Re: Gram
Thought he was ok... but doesn't look match fit to me. Don't understand why they are so keen to rush him back into the side.
RL did this too.
Let him play a month at Sandy and force his way back in

Re: Gram
Played well.....20 plus touches, good hands and tackled well, solid first game back...
His composure down back, to find a short target twice, was crucial
I know we like to scapegoat him, but unfortunately he did not have jones....Dempster, Hayes and Geary did....
Gram played a lot on Rohan Bail ...... Some minutes through the middle

Re: Gram
Did he play poorly did he..... From what I saw, he did little wrong, won the footy enough and contributed.....
He was Breyer than half the team tonight...... As difficult as that is for some to acknowledge

Agree to disagree on Gram tonight, call em as you see em
Re: Gram
What did he do wrong??
His indicators were good??
I suppose he just wasn't 'hard' enough..... Heard a supporter at the ground yell that, unfortunately for him, Jason was not in the vicinity of the ball and he'd questioned Dempsters hardness, which was hilarious..

Re: Gram
Last time out, Gram managed zero contested possessions in a final. Tonight he managed ten. Big difference. He was far harder at it tonight than he has been most games since the 09GF. No way he loses his spot on the back of that performance.

Re: Gram
Had a lot of it early and then died out of it which is to be expected.
If he improves on that, with more games under his belt, then he'll fairly easily keep his spot.
Lets not forget that he's had major groin problems in the past two seasons, yet said before he did his hammy a few weeks ago that he was now feeling the best he had for several years, so I think it's worth seeing if he can get back to his very best form before we throw him out with the bathwater.
