Re: Round 5 Team
That's very daring from Scotty.
A back comes in for a forward. Oh well, so much for the youth policy.

Re: Round 5 Team
Scott obviously happy with key indicators although we didnt get the points last week...
Gram to sub first match back, Cripps and Newnes full 4 qtrs??
Sippos onto emg list, getting close....

Re: Round 5 Team
Thought so.
Given it's just one week, you'd think he'll get Gram back in...and probably play a forward line of Roo/Stanley...and at times, maybe even Gilbert

No Youth Policy?? I guess Simpkin, Steven, Milera, Stanley, Newnes, Cripps must not be playing...Jacks Back wrote:That's very daring from Scotty.

Re: Round 5 Team
Well Melbourne have so many gun mids, it's really hard to choose who we shut down, so we'll just go with 3 taggers at all times. If only we still had Bakes...SaintSimmo wrote:B: Geary, Gilbert, Blake

Won't be at all surprised if Wilkes comes in late. Maybe waiting to see what the weather does.

Re: Round 5 Team
They are a tall down with Clark out with injury
Not sure we need to bring in another.
Gilbo will probably make a cameo forward just for this week.

Re: Round 5 Team
Although we are playing plenty of youth, I can't help be disappointed that ledger is not getting a game after probably being our most promising youth throughout the preseason.

Re: Round 5 Team
Our younger blokes are getting a good run at it and I am happy for this to happen. It is much better than chopping and changing younger blokes.
From this if Cripps plays a little better than hopefully he get maintain his spot, likewise Stanley et al.
They have been given opportunities to make spots their own. Even if they do not take it they have at the very least been given a good go.

Dos that mean Ledger could miss out on any game yet again. That would be his third weekend out of five without a game. Surely he will play somewhere.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

They haven't been that bad stoppage wise. The Redeemer wrote:The much vaunted on ball pairing of Jones and Polo......bloody hell
Magner may run with one of Dal or Lenny like he did Boyd last week, so Jones needs to run with one of theirs....perhaps Jones?
Polo may take someone like Sylvia?

Re: Round 5 Team
dees are being called a "bye" by everyone in footyland.
as we know not many teams have a winless year. we need to really go out hard in the first 1/4 and not give them any stuipid ideas that this week is their week. snuff them out early and they will give up.

No offence but both those match ups are hilarious.....it displays how up shizen creek the Demons are and some of the awful playing talent we have in our team.SainterK wrote:They haven't been that bad stoppage wise. The Redeemer wrote:The much vaunted on ball pairing of Jones and Polo......bloody hell

Sylvia should molest Polo.
Magner tagging someone...chortle...the guy is all huff no puff and cannot kick.
Jones and Jones would probably be a 0-0 draw with CJ's kicking probably dragging him down a peg or two.
