If it's my earlier comment you are referring to it was posed as question, not as a statement.Con Gorozidis wrote:on paper. and we all know how much paper counts in footy. not at all.dragit wrote:Isn't this the team that could easily beat a handful of AFL sides?
Generally that's what is indicated by the following symbol at the end of a sentence: ?.
Just so you know.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

No big deal, but considering that the best Willie players are the ones that can't crack a game for the Doggies, there must be a huge gap between any AFL/VFL sides… I wasn't having a go…Con Gorozidis wrote:would thrash the demons. beat gws easily. go close to the lions, gc and the doggies.

Re: VFL: Sandy vs Williamstown
Showed better form in the last quarter. Poor kicking in front of goal (again) cost Sandy the game. Good to see J. Gwilt back on the paddock. I enjoyed being at the game and catching up with some of my pals from the Sainters.
St Kilda forever ( God help me)

Sounds about right, but about 40 of them were disgraceful decisions.GoSaintersGo wrote:45 free kicks against Sandy, is that a fact - article in Hun this am.
Wilkes, Gram & Ray were only Saints that stood out yesterday. Wilkes might not have clunked all marks but he was double teamed, but he always brought ball to ground and his work rate when ball hit ground was awesome. His 2nd and third efforts were first class and thats what he brings to table over Kosi, who has no 2nd efforts.
Siposs was in and out of game again, needs to keep working on that. Ledger was OK, was hardly seen but had good 10min burst.
Winmar should be playing in reserves, this bloke is terrible.

Disagree with this a lot.
Re: VFL: Sandy vs Williamstown
Gee some harsh calls this year...
Winmar has kept out of trouble, watched others get opportunity, sometimes perhaps without deserving it....watched guys like Lynch and Walsh move on after not getting a go.
Maybe he needs some one on one time with one of the coaches, and be taught how to self motivate.

That he is not terrible.
Very very far from the case IMO.

Re: VFL: Sandy vs Williamstown
The bloke just runs around looking for cheap possession and is afraid to put his body on line. Ive never seen him do anything special, never looks like tearing the game apart.Spinner wrote:dragit wrote:That is very sad to hear…stkildathunda wrote:Winmar should be playing in reserves, this bloke is terrible.

That's good to hear,
He's exactly the sort of player we need to step-up and take over from Gram/Ray/Peake/Raph in the next couple of years… He really needs to start cracking a game though I would imagine, though he is only 21 next week, they will want to see improvement soon.
