Broken remote...F*ck you Lyon
Sucks to be us again
No miraculous resurgence if we can't beat an average interstate side on our own dunhill
I wonder if we will see our two best kids anytime this century now?

Re: St Kilda v Fremantle Official Game Thread
with three minutes to go we just need a bit more more poise and a final burst
Freo used the ball better to space and we didnt
the difference being a couple of top our players had little effect on the game

Disagree - (edit - not with the above, earlier) hard game, both teams hard at the ball. Lot of pressure. Lots of skill errors as a result - both ways. Line ball in the end. They got the benefit of the whistle and it made the difference.
This could hurt the lads a lot mentally. Coach needs to ensure he can get them up and positive.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

the flood was on & we were doing really well in the packs
I cant understand why when we cleared the ball, we seemed to panic a bit and rush the next disposal. WHich lead to the turnovers

OTT?
Nuh, i won't be reaching for the razor blades. Yes another interstate side has prepared well and executed very well against us. No we do not like going down to these interstate clubs especially at home. There are many biased reasons for this. One of them i believe is because we still secretly feel they have zero right to take premiership glory ahead of us. It's a common grudge for any long suffering Saints fan. Yes it will likely make us feel sick to the stomach if Ross Lyon's new outfit rises above our beloved club this year also.
Don't panic! It was line ball tonight and to their credit Freo hung on and broke their own hoodoo. We were not disgraced. I was pleased to see the young and fresh talent performing well. I like the creative Terry Milera. Rhys Stanley is coming along nicely. Jack Steven is really shining now, which is so good to see. The old guard remain a formidable force.
I thought there were a couple of our guys who under performed tonight (McEvoy looked beaten, Polo was not v effective). I would love to have seen Sipposs play tonight. But of course like every other supporter i can only pray the footy department makes the best call.
Presence of mind with the ball under fierce pressure, that's what I believe will win these games for us. I remain optimistic that this skill can be achieved.
