Re: Your top ten saints
Can't speak for P66 or Stinger, but I'm not old enough to have seen my first game... otherwise I'd have myself on this list.White Winmar wrote: ...Now if only I could find someone who's old enough to have seen Billy Mohr, Roy Cazaly and Dave McNamara play. You still out there, P66?
1 Baldock (the only one I didn't see.)
2 Lockett
3 Harvey
4 Riewoldt
5 McIntosh
6 Young, G
7 Hayes
8 Barker
9 Winmar (Could be higher if rated only for skill, but I still rate him as the 2nd best indiginous player I've seen, behind Maurice Rioli - RIP)
10 Lawrence, B
Apologies: Fisher, Superduper, Burnsy, Cowboy, McNamara.
PS: The fact that Spider, with all his talent, isn't on anyone's list says something...

Re: Your top ten saints
I started going in 1989, so of the ones in my time:
1. Plugger
2. Harvs
3. Riewoldt
4. Winmar
5. Loewe
6. Goddard
7. Burke
8. Hayes
9. Gehrig
10. Grant
I saw Barks, but only in his last year; otherwise I'm sure he'd be in there. I'm sure I've omitted plenty of worth contenders too, like Hudghton.

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

I know it is only an opinion but surely Rooy could at least get in your others especially as you have Allan Murray and Steve Lawrence in there.
