Re: Changes next week
Milera got a knock in the back of the leg and left the ground limping. Probably a cork from friendly fire I think. I hope it's nothing serious.

Re: Changes next week
Why the enthusiasm for Polo to come back into the side? Bleh! Keep playing the young guns, I say.
Is it just me, or is Joey skating on thin ice? A round in the Magoos might just be in order for him to pull himself together.

well - there have been quite a few comments made Scotty (and mcphee) to suggest they are big fans of polo and rate him higher than most of us on here.
So
In: polo
out: newnes

Re: Changes next week
Cripps was pretty quiet again this week and agree that Joey needs to lift in a fair way. Newnes got off to a good start, but then went right out of it. Either he or Cripps for the "sub" role next week.
YOU GET WHAT YOU SETTLE FOR.

If Watters wants him to get more contested ball, he just needs to get together with Lenny & Armo and get them to chew his ear.

Re: Changes next week
Polo wouldn't get a game for Richmond. Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Changes next week
i concur. newnes got a taste he now needs to work on it.
OUT: newnes
IN: polo
SUB: crippa

Re: Changes next week
OUT: Cripps (Didn't do enough, and didn't really "want" the ball/put his body in which was pretty obvious/annoying)
Newness to stay, he played well, very calm with the ball I might add.
Joey better not have another quiet game or might be finding himself in the Sandy team.
Wilkes to come in (Kicked 5 goals) playing for Sandy.
Tom Curren to be named an Emergency along side Winmar and Polo.
Their my bets.

“Yeah….nah””
Re: Changes next week
I don't get why people are wanting to drop Newnes to be dropped. Thought he showed enough to stay.
Possible outs:
Cripps might be up against it.
Joey needs a kick up the arse!
Possible ins:
Polo comes of suspension
Wilkes with the haul of 5 goals, doubtful however as we would be too tall.
Anyone know how Seb went today?

Re: Changes next week
Oh and anyone else think Kosi is unfit?
Just seemed slower than usual and looked spent a lot of the time?
Don't think he should be dropped or anything, just an observation.

I must have watched a different game IMO I did't have Joey up there having a good game, thought he only started to get the pill in the 4th. But will gladly apologise if wrong.

Is it because he didn't have 40 touches and 5 goals like he did once against adelaide?
He's not in career-best form but would still be a walk-up start in 18 sides… fair dinkum…
Has Polo ever had 25 touches while at the saints?

Its the drugs. They are cheap at the moment. Anyone want some?
Re: Changes next week
the forward line is already fairly chunky - roo, kosi, stanley. how do you fit another tall forward into the side?lefty wrote:Wilkes to come in (Kicked 5 goals) playing for Sandy.
