Siposs - knee - lti list
Siposs did his knee at Sandy.
Not good/Disaster.
Going on LTI list.
Who gets promoted? Dunnell?

Scans are tomorrow so I wouldn't have thought that there is any word on how long he is out for?Con Gorozidis wrote:Siposs did his knee at Sandy.

Radio suggested that it was a PCL so depending on the severity then yes maybe LTI but I thought that LTI was 8 weeks or longer.
If we could promote someone at the moment Dunnell would be front runner if going by radio reports.
Thats Mr. Smartarse to you

Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
Last we officially heard was that it was either a hyperextension or a PCL (normally a 4-8 week injury).

Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
If true, this is terrible news... Far worse than todays loss..
Aside from the fact that he should never have been playing in the VFL today, he would've definitely been in line for a call up next week with so many passengers today... Shattering news...

PCL is not a long term injury. I know from experience.

Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
heard from a well known nice lady in the cs area (was watching her on the phone) at half time outside and heard that the physio there could not feel a diff in either knee but obviously scans asap
sounds like it 'could' be 3 or 4 only..maybe
hopefully mr sip can keep us up to date as soon as he hears anything and wish junior sip all the best from us
really thought he and ledge would be in today

Should say so in the thread title. The way it is now looks like you're passing on news.Con Gorozidis wrote:im speculating

Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
this. it isnt the end of the world. we shouldnt be banking our success on one player. rest the kid, get him right and every opportunity to succeed. this opens the door for some other players markworth or we could elevate a rookie if its the case. dunnell and minchington have been impressive.Con Gorozidis wrote:noone knows until scans tomorrow so im speculatingLegendary wrote:Last we officially heard was that it was either a hyperextension or a PCL (normally a 4-8 week injury).

Good news if the Physio couldn't tell much difference in the knee. If the PCL is partially torn the tibia moves backwards behind the femur, it's unmistakable.matrix wrote:heard from a well known nice lady in the cs area (was watching her on the phone) at half time outside and heard that the physio there could not feel a diff in either knee but obviously scans asap

Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
Good news.......he needs to be developed as quickly as possible and fast tracked.... An injury would have held him back again..
Not sure why he would be left out yesterday after watching against collingwood

You seriously have to stop creating threads of this nature.
Not only is it annoying - they are misleading. Doing your knee involves much more than a suspected PCL tear. What's worse is that he is fine to play anyways.

Great news about Siposs the season isn't over but yes it is in terms of serious grand final contender but not over in bringing up champs for our next tilt. Lower you expectations and your anger/frustration will improve.

Message on twitter suggested it was just bruising "Some reports coming through that Arryn Siposs has been cleared of any tear & it's just bruising. Might be right to play this weekend: - Truesainters
Re: Siposs - knee - lti list
thank F#%K...
Agree with BM, odd that he was overlooked for selection yesterday... Integral that we get him exposed to the top level as much as possible, as he is one of the few that seems to belong in the AFL, and will thrive...
Obviously if he plays this week it will be in the VFL, but a solid performance should push him into serious consideration...

Great news.
Keep persisting in moulding him into a forward with a bit of time in the midfield.
Won't be long until he pushes someone out.
