I will be surprised if WILKES makes it as a key defender - he doesn't seem to want to play with maintaining contact and is much more suited to playing as a forward. Although perhaps Max may be able to improve this approach - I believe he would be a more productive forward than Kosi will be this year.

Hence for me ARCHER would make the perfect big key defender we need. However the SAINTS coaching staff have a different plan for Daniel as they were playing him forward before he was injured - I hope they consider the alternative.
I am going to assume this is not a troll.
Get one thing straight, Archer is not AFL standard. At the end of this season he will not be on our list. To suggest that he should be developed as our full back is laughable to say the least.
+1

Was shocked when he wasn't culled from the rookie list at the end of last year. He is an honest tryer, but he is not AFL standard whatsoever.

He's had 1/2 a game of AFL football and people like yourself have written him off ! Who else have we got coming through ? Good players just dont appear they evolve and they need people to show faith in them. Is it any wonder the Saints have the youth development record they have with people like yourself around - qestionofaccuracy.

Well hopefully Sandy's ruck stocks stay healthy and Arch can be settled into whatever position the Saints want him to develop into.

If that happens, and if the big fella himself stays fit and healthy, then we'll all be in a much better position to assess him come season's end.

What has a supporter got to do with our development of players? That is just emotive rubbish. Anyway Archer isnt a very good AFL player at the moment. He has a year to become one. It can happen but it will not happen at FB.

I am not prepared to write a guy off who has just turned 20.
Deserves another year before we make any judgments.

Guys who we can start judging straight away this year at Sandy are Dunell and Shenton. Both old enough to really play well at Sandy. Should make an impact.

Plugger once again you have shown you are mecar on all things AFL (St Kilda) - I dont know why anyone bothers offering an opinion when you are always right ! Many apologies for suggesting the 'rubbish' you disagree with...

Well Crocker has obviously upset you then. He is only 19 I think, and you have had him delisted already in another thread. Why the difference? :?
