In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

If you're Victorian, West Australians tend to treat you like garbage

I've got relatives over there, it's fun to wind them up by telling them how backward Perth is. It's nice, but backward.Con Gorozidis wrote:some peole are CRAZY parochial and sensitive.magnifisaint wrote:If you're Victorian, West Australians tend to treat you like garbage

Re: Jamie Cripps
Cripps is going to be a very good player. I heard he tested overall including all the interviews and tests as in the top few at the draft combine the year he went and he was expected to get taken before we got him. Nice to see him with a bit more muscle too.
Re: Jamie Cripps
I'm predicting a breakout year from Cippa. IMO he has looked the best of our 2010 drafees.....Ledger not far behind.
If Cripps lives up to his potential then he's addressed one of our major weaknesses. A genuinely quick and attacking small backman. We've had Bakes and more recently Geary however both don't offer the aggressive style and speed that Cripps does. Raph has teased but hasn't delivered.
Lock Cripps in on the team sheet for round 1.

Do you guys want to just swap phone numbers?
or does someone else want to discuss Cripps?
I love the kid - pace and poise in the backline: perfect!

He is a breath of fresh air with his positive style and that can rub off on other players.MrCordz wrote:Do you guys want to just swap phone numbers?

Also lets not forget he has quite a significant health issue to manage, so I think we have got a bloke who will do anything to play at the highest level.

I have Ledger way ahead. And don't quite yet see the fuss with Cripps, tbh.

i had ledger ahead but i have changed my mind. and that is nothing against ledge. still love him. cripps has edged ahead for mine .Quixote wrote:I have Ledger way ahead. And don't quite yet see the fuss with Cripps, tbh.
to me cripps looks like a complete footballer. fast, nice kick, tackles well, tough. really impressing me atm. i think the extra year pre-season was what he needed. he was really skinny when he arrived. looks ready now.
