AFL will make every effort to schedule NAB Cup match in Wangaratta in 2013 pre-season after the disappointment of last night's cancellation.
The bombers recon they can go up their problem is landing. From a very tired, wet saints supporter who travelled 2 hours on flooded roads for nothing I didnt see 2 Fridays ago......good work bigshots
Makes it even more extraordinary how the AFL just jumped in and ordered that the match was a draw - what the?? Was that a knee-jerk reaction before they actually considered the facts and the ramifications. Just amazing.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Does this leave more embarrassment and egg on the face for
1) Essendon
who opted a hit and run fly in approach that ignored all weather forecasts, had no plan B, and therefore treated the people of Wangaratta and StKFC with no respect
OR
2) the AFL
who displayed total incompetence by initially suggesting 2 points each, then a coin toss, and finally after public pressure awarded the points to us - fact is they too had no plan B for a situation that is always a possibility
1)? or 2)?
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Essendon now that the afl have found something where they can point the finger at Essendon. Read accomodation stuff up as the "need" for the fly in-fly out strategy !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

If we beat West Coast by about 15 goals !!
You could argue that 4 points is not enough.
We were denied the opportunity to get 4 points AND build our percentage.
But how do you award extra percentage as well as points?
Maybe get the average points for/against for the round and add that to our current for/against to give our percentage a boost.
Of course, had we thumped both Geelong and Sydney in Round 1, this formula may have decreased our percentage!
Of course I'm getting way too complex for simpleton Anderson!
Do you ever stop. Even when we get result most wanted to continue to whinge. As I said previously when I want to bash my grandmother I will go to the footy with you beforehand to get into the mood.
What does the NAB Cup ladder actually look like at the moment.?
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
