went close but so did rocket eade. i rate rl is similar coach to rocket. pretty darn good but not brilliant and slightly flawed.

Nice wind up. I understand we can't all expect to be the subject of a bidding war such as that which erupted to secure Ross Lyon's services as Senior Coach. But the scramble to employ Rodney Eade as Senior Coach was tragic viewing.
His wife, driven to despair by the universal lack of interest, launched two public appeals in the Herald Sun for someone to give the man a job.
And still no-one came knocking. Anyone - even a novice coach - was thought better than Rodney Eade. Poor man.
