Game 1: Play The Kids!
At 6.45pm tonight it could still be quite hot. 35 is forecast BUT a strong sea breeze is forecast.
Dunno if will cool down all the concrete and steel of the Dome in time for the game though.
So a good strategy may be to heavily load up the first game with kids and rest our top line players for 2 hours later when we take on Geelong in what should be more comfortable conditions.

No mix it up. The heat wont matter as we only play 40 minutes. Now point in getting smashed with young kids. Doesnt help them at all. And I am also unsure why young kids would handle the heat better than older experienced players.

Fair call. I don't think the kids will handle it better more my point was protecting the older more valueable players. Like the nightwatchman theory in cricket.plugger66 wrote:saintspremiers wrote:At 6.45pm tonight it could still be quite hot. 35 is forecast BUT a strong sea breeze is forecast.

Re: Game 1: Play The Kids!
seriously who gives a crap what the score is. this all about education and learning and opportunity.
we already know milney/fisher etc are good players. let them run around to get some miles on their legs and get a feel for the pill. but i want to see if any kids can play. shenton etc.

Our defence appears to of gone for a walk:
STK: 2.3 (15)
SYD: 5.4 (34)
Dempster in the rooms. Somthing to do with his right knee.
