Would someone be able to send me some instructions on how to put up a picture in my little box slash under my name.

about time I sorted this one out.

go to a web page
get the url of the avatar
go to your profile page on ss
and go down the bottom and paste that link/url of the avatar you want into the bar/space where it says "Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to."
then hit submit

if it doesnt work its prob because the avatar is too big
or
youve copy and pasted the wrong link into the bar/space

Do we really need to see that photo

THe info on how to post an Avatar is not easy to follow when you dont know what to do. Obviously I am not the only one not able to follow it as WODROO still doesnt have a pic up.

Your right there WODROO is still a bot stuffed. All the photos I want to use are protected or some crap.

Don't mind the name though. Sounds like something between and kangaroo and and rock wallaby.

if you uploaded from photobucket or tiny pics there is easy resize on there

if stright from a website then upload to one of the above and then resize and re load.

others may have other options.

Doesn't really matter that much - your avatar is fine (except for the width) there are others almost the same size, and some sig pics are huge..........

No problem with the height, the width is too big though, distorts the forum when trying to read.
