Bakes always kicked backwards, Dawson actually appeared to have the ability but lack the confidence at times, Blake is OK but very safe, Gilbert is OK but certainly isn't as bad as his 2011 season dictated IMO, Dempster improved but is much better at long kicking than short passes.

I'd love Dal back there, or hoping that one of the kids who can really hit a target to blossom and fill a role.

Zac was under instruction to feed it out i reckon. Gilbert, Gram, Jones and even Goddard didn't have the same quality of disposal under more pressure from opposition forward structures. 09 and 10 let them run free more and they could reload under little pressure.

As for Seany D he he can have 2 beautiful kicks then an absolute shank. He still freaks me out when he has the ball.

Goddard and Dal Santo easily our best two users of the footy.

Next would be Schnieder and Gwilt.

Riewoldt a very good field kick but an average shot for goal. Kosi pretty good.

Montagna would be considered good. He tends to kick fairly high however usually hits his target. Similar to Harvey, I suppose.

It's easy to name the players with good skills as there are not many. Far more average skilled players currently in our best 22.

Yeah, Blake is usually very safe. Usually.

My observation of Dempsters goal kicking is that he can (& sometimes does) kick some very good long goals when he is on the run. However, hs set shots from a "gettable" range have a much lower probability of sailing through the "big ones". There are many AFL player in the "same boat" with a much higher percentage of shots on the run going through than their Set shot efforts.

Let's all hope he works on this deficiency and maintains his accuracy while on the run.

Armo is a good kick imo, especially into the forward line....kicks very well to the advantage of a leading forward, as do Milne, Schneider and Roo

Yeah I rate his kicking highly. He is one of the few you would back to kick a goal after the siren too.

I agree with your summary in terms of field kicking but our goal kicking is a different matter.
Schneider, Milne, Goddard, McEvoy, Armitage and Kosi seem to be able to slot them but most of the others on our list are pretty hit and miss. Riewoldt's kicking for goal is diabolical. He's in the below par category if you take that into consideration.
