It depends on your priorities - genuine interest in the site/topics, or ego to become a "notary contributor." Available time to contribute is obviously a key factor in the number of posts that one can make.
As a relatively recent poster, I have some observations - those who value the genuine "supporter" interaction, the "notary contributors" the "stirers," those who will argue their point to "infinity."
The site will only continue to be supported if there is "balance" in the contributions. We can all put up with some clearly evident crap, but if it overwhelmes the "true supporter," then the site is a lost cause.
Personally, I don't bother responding to the crap, or get involved in "toe-to-toe" slanging matches - there is more to life than being a big player on this site. Let's hope that the "true supporter" wins out, because this site is a great opportunity for true fans to put their case forward.
