Passing another FOX

Post: # 1180648Post Royston »

I'm led to believe Lindsay has discussed purchasing/providing a plane for the Saints to use on their interstate trips....

Not many would be able to pass that Fox if true.

New training facility, new coaching structure, new development acedemy and new private transport. Wow.

Would require servicing and maintaince, which you wouldn't want any cost cutting on. A large amount of logistical issues involved.
Unless it is some type of shared private plane.

I would allow him to do that to but its a bit hard to believe, hard to see him handing over that much cash, be great if it happened.

I love this club

Moorabbin airport is close. Dunno if they'll take a small jet though.

Fox is a expert at tax minimization. His plane is written off as a deduction because it is no longer "private". Free servicing on the government sounds like a good deal.

Sounds dubious.
Fistly - he owns Avalon.
Secondly - Didnt he shift allegiances to the Blues 10 years ago?

Maybe. Is he running any of those wartime seaplanes? You know, the ones that used to be at Rushcutters Bay.

If Lindsay Fox wishes to contribute to the club like this I say "Good On Him". It is well known that he has done PLENTY for the 66 Premiership Side. The ONLY thing he doesn't like about what he's done or does for the club is the publicity !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Is plausible, he owns several properties on the peninsula and is a strong advocate for developing industry in the peninsula area including rail and air infrastructure. Private plane from Moorabbin Airport or waterplane from Frankston or Seaford Pier would be ideal!!

We'll see, but I don't see it happening, although it would be terrific :)

Plenty (and I mean plenty) of people ask him for money. He doesn't throw it around lightly.

Let the wheels turn and we will see what if anything, happens.

Catalinas only take about nine personnel including flight crew. Considering there's only a couple still capable of flying in Australia, I think not.

Spotting a Linfox truck on the road in either aust or nz is a family game on our travels. So much better than "I spy..."
