Looking at those stats he might turn out to be a very wise selection, and thankfully ready to go.....again.

Solid unit, big time experiance, 25 years old, can play either end, ready made. Looks like we recurited him to play down back and fill an instant need while we develop some kids. If he produces he could be an ace in the hole and a bargain

Seems to devide opinion with Eagles fans. Some say he was crap and otehr say he was at the end of the line for a spot. Hope he can make the most of his second chance

aaaaannd BANG, ready made FB right there.

Ppl whingeing about KPP's on another thread? Last time I checked FB was a KP.

Bet you he turns out to be a better FB than Zac, too, a FB who can actually hold his own in 1 on 1's.

On the West Coast Bigfooty board they seem to think he's a solid player who did all that was asked of him and just never got enough oppurtunity.

Speaks very well (very relaxed and comfortable, especially) and seems mature. I'm happy we got him. Hopefully he'll have us saying Tommy who? very soon.

Was suprised to see we got him, especially after the hack-sun had him listed as re-drafted to West Coast. Can't lose that low down. Not many guns left. Clubs passing picks soon after.

Hope he fires up for us!

Completely different body type & I'd be surprised if Zak was over 90kg.

Like Matthew Spangher he seemed to be a poorer player in a really poor team (at the time).

Who knows how he will turn out in a team that currently is quite talented and adept at looking out for the key defensive talls and spoiling. God knows we carried nancy boy for a few years doing it so I am sure Wilkes can do well if he is remotely physical.

At least I don't have to deal with nancy boys' parents at games anymore. They are touchy touchy twats.

Interesting that Saints had told him BEFORE the draft that if he was still there at 68 that we would Probably take him.

Just think it is interesting that he was pretty much locked in at 68 before the draft even with all the twists and turns of who's available, the Dowler thing, etc

Got injuries at the wrong time and also struggled with rest of the team when they were getting hammered.

Should be a decent player for us up forward or down back.
