Our token recycled pick.

Starred for Claremont this year in the WAFL GF after a few years with West Coast.

Thoughts?

Bit of a strange pick. Already been drafted and cut once or twice with West Coast. I guess he's our emergency readymade tall.

Beau Muston
Beau Dowler

there are only about 5 guys called Beau in the country and Pelchen has drafted 3 of them!

25 years old.

194cm, 96kg.

His stats weren't too bad from his stint in the big time:

the west coast supporters I know rated him highly but thought he didn't work hard enough and suffered a couple of injuries at bad times.

Wikipedia have already updated him to a St Kilda player.
Very interesting call, but I'm happy with it :)

If he can play like he did in the WAFL grand final for us then we got a steal kicked 5 goals and looked like a class above the rest

Len-dog is right on the money

Simon McPhee was his coach last year so I suggest he might be ready to go

One of the players he most admires is our very own captain...and he said that Roo is a great leader as well as a great player.

So possible Full Back?

Reading those links above is like reading links on Zac.

Wilkes:
- less risky
- solid and elementary in approach

If he can play a solid role at FB that keeps Sam ad Gilbert free.

Give his height and mass he could fit i well to our defense as we need one genuine tall.

With his age and experience he is ready to play as well

While not a "masterful" selection give where he was taken it could prove to be a very prudent and useful pick up for us to cover a glaring hole.

i like his demographics. six months older than polo, six months younger than raph, about the same age as ray. in a little cluster of gops who could play for the next five years plus. and he's played a few games so knows what it takes.
