One thing I know for sure is that Pelchan obviously had a lot to do with Buddy and Cyril at Hawthorn, so when someone as exciting as Manson comes along I expect he would have done his due diligence with regards to him and not been scared off by the prospect he may get homesick.
As a result of that, if we call out his name tonight, I'll be pumped.

+1 I don't expect us to pick him up but if we do I'll be excited.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:One thing I know for sure is that Pelchan obviously had a lot to do with Buddy and Cyril at Hawthorn, so when someone as exciting as Manson comes along I expect he would have done his due diligence with regards to him and not been scared off by the prospect he may get homesick.

The Freak
on SEN this morning they were saying something similar, all a part of freo / west coast from scaring the eastern states off.IluvHarvey wrote:Well said!st_Trav_ofWA wrote:From what I hear the home sick thing is a major beat up he is no more risk of wanting to go home than any kid leaving home tonight ...Moccha wrote:IMO a waste of a draft pick.
I can't see how he could settle living in Melbourne.
As talented as he is, he may struggle with all the demands
Some major stereotyping in this thread!

I think Manson's got more in common with X Factor than Australian IdolRosco wrote:Sebastian To Sing At GFshmic_s wrote:I don't know what Guy Sebastian has to do with football.plugger66 wrote:Dont know what Buddy and Cyril have to do with guy.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:One thing I know for sure is that Pelchan obviously had a lot to do with Buddy and Cyril at Hawthorn, so when someone as exciting as Manson comes along I expect he would have done his due diligence with regards to him and not been scared off by the prospect he may get homesick.

Listening to his story from someone last night I thought mmmm - maybe if we can get X and Raph to be his mentors as they appear to have made the cross quite well and still have connection back to Darwin.

X and Raph? What do they have to do with Manson? Sorry I was just pretending to be someone else for a second. It wasn't fun!saintbrat wrote:Listening to his story from someone last night I thought mmmm - maybe if we can get X and Raph to be his mentors as they appear to have made the cross quite well and still have connection back to Darwin.
Seriously, though, Raph may not be too happy to add mentoring to his load if he's just taken a pay cut. A pay cut that X apparently wasn't happy about, either, going by his reported Twitter comment.
Where there's a will there's always a way, though. If we reckon he's good enough and has the sort of character we're wanting, we can make it work.

You obviously didnt hear a person who knows him from the top end on SEN today. Doesnt sound like a person who would be at our club anymore than about half a year. Stay away which we will surely do.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:X and Raph? What do they have to do with Manson? Sorry I was just pretending to be someone else for a second.
