Numbers
Just having a bit of a look at the playing list on the Saints site, and it got me thinking about numbers for next year. I know it's nothing really important at the end of the day, but it's nice to see players rewarded with getting a higher number, or perhaps one that means a bit to the club and supporters.
These are some of the higher the numbers left vacant at the end of 2011:
#6
#10
#15
#16
#21
#29
#32
I guess those first few are the ones more special... So who do we see deserving of getting a higher jumper number?
Simpkin, Ledger, Archer, Stanley, Curren, Ferg?? Also there is Saad, Milera and our future draftees currently without a number.
It's funny, I almost suggested Cripps, then remembered that he has one of the more significant numbers of all!

Who ever gets/wants a higher jumper number better be able to back it up is all I will say.

Grab any number and make it your own with quality playing.
44 is even and 35 is divisible by 5 and 7.
Neither is prime.

You get more space around your locker on match day if you have a higher number.
Your surrounding numbers are down at Sandringham.
Milne has been sent to the other end of the locker room with 44.
Banger enjoyed the peace and quiet at 35.
