Most reports indicate its Dawson.
Regardless of what kind of a player his is or was if he has rejected an offer as has been reported Freo is welcome to him.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Or it means some have already signed.Joffa 5 wrote:It says there's contracts on the table for 3 of the quartet. I was under the impression there is a contract on the table for Zac (Whether he signs it or not is another story). So does that mean one of Dempster, Peake or Ray haven't been offered a contract?
I'm sure I'm reading too much into it and fully expect Zac to be the one to gostkildathunda wrote:Or it means some have already signed.Joffa 5 wrote:It says there's contracts on the table for 3 of the quartet. Perhaps it is Raph CLARKE...
Perhaps out of all of this Raph CLARKE has been squeezed out?
When you think about it, he is the player whom we have plenty of backups available to fill the position. I dont know what he would attract money wise but I get the feeling he may be the one on the outer so they can keep Dawson?
From a list management perspective it would sense!

The Club has had plenty of time to shuffle the Contract Offers. Let's hope that they have retained their priority players. The Coaching/Fitness positions have been settled and they are looking pretty good for anyone who wants to stay.
I get the feeling that Zac is sitting on an offer that we can't match. Only a few days now before we finally know. 18 pages of comment on Zac on another thread, indicates that there is plenty of interest by supporters, in the outcome.

I actually cant follow how people can say that. Zac is a KPP and no obvious replacement and Raph is an ordinary HBF and there are other options there. Zac for all his apparent failures has a much better finals record than Raph. If it was a choice and obviously it isnt I would have Zac as the last to lose out of all the apparently uncontracted players.borderbarry wrote:I am not happy about how Raph is never mentioned. Would rather lose Zac.

+1 - Zac cops a rough deal from all & sundry IMO. A HBF can easily be replaced... thats where you send out of form midfielders to find form!plugger66 wrote:I actually cant follow how people can say that.
