A forward/back utility, lead-up forward, spoil and running backman.

In his own words
What type of player are you?
A running player with good skills and marking ability.

Very keen on Dowler.

196 cm / 88 kg.

"He started the season as a Noble Park forward but finished it superbly in the backline."

His issue is all about confidence and application. Ability is the least of his worries.

Maybe he's decided he wants an AFL career after all...

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

The Magpies also invited Sandy top-liner Marcus Marigliani to pre-season training.

But he will instead train with the Saints, as will Zebra teammates James Magner, James Hallahan and Michael Lourey.

From Herald Sun.

St Kilda may just become a club where players/kids actually want to come.

If you'd been taken by the Saints in the past 4-5 years you wouldn't be expecting much opportunity.

PS - I realise this is a hindsight call, hope that is ok with everyone

Don't like Dowler, his eyes are too close together. Untrustworthy IMO.

Don't read too much into the eyes Old Mate.

Saad's eyes are too close to his feet but I reckon he'll be a goer.

Doesnt mean he cant be picked up by them like we did with Smith. MM doesnt really do ir for me, butchered it a bit the times I saw him, does get a lot of it though.

Dowler is a real interesting one, good to have a quality tall back up if zac leaves. I was suprised when Hughes was delisted last year, could do worse than rookie him. May be wrong but didnt both players think a little too highly of themselves when on lists?
