I think it worked out a bit better than our pick up.....that was definitely
BTW
Did we win a trophy for winning 19 straight????
didnt we lose a GF due to some lack of experience and composure
Wasn't our biggest weakness was clearly our bottom 6 players in 2009/2011...
Question
Would Cousins have been better than our 4 worse players in either 2009 or 2010???
Remebering the gap between us winning and losing was not a lot
What Richmond got was 15 of 22 games in one year and 17 of 22 games in another, and average of 20 odd undamaging possessions, and nothing particularly helpful in the grander scheme.
Statistically, Dean Polo was on par for us in 2011 in a significantly better team.
I admire BC for having a last crack. In a way I admire Richmond for taking him on.
But what did they REALLY get for it all?
If your read the press, there's little in the way of spare revenue flaoting about at Punt Rd.
Reality is they got two more years in footballing purgatory for NO reward whatsoever.
History says it was a nice gesture by the Tigers. History also says it was an entirely s*** move.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
