Why is it that he was not taken in the trade....

Talking about Brian Lara he has a fantastic record V the Aussies virtually single handedly kept the WI in a series in the west Indies in the 90's and made several huge scores against us including his first double century as a youngster,certainly fits the mould of a champion against the best of opposition>he didn't collect easy runs like most of the sub -continent "champions"have.

He is second only to Raph in terms of copping it from his own supporters and it's a bit offputting.
