SHOULD St.Kilda draft Fev? Bloody oath, IMHO. It's absolutely nothing like the lovett situation. We took a huge risk on Lovett. What we could offer Fev would be no risk.
And as for those who say, "oh, we need to get a good image in the media, we need to be the media's b*tches," F&#K the media. You know they're going to attack us any chance they get and turn everything we do into "Rabble club does it again" headlines anyway, so why should we take them into consideration when making decisions about OUR future and OUR next premiership? And at the end of the day, you never know how the media will react. Look at how they reacted to the Richmond/Cousins deal. They ate it up, loved it, and both Cousins and Richmond came out better off.
If he comes in and stuffs up or is unable to find any form, well, he goes and we don't lose anything more than if an untried rookie turns out to be no good
BUT
If he comes in and is able to hold down FF, well, all of a sudden we've got Roo playing as the number 2 forward, we've got 2 dangerous smalls, we've got goddard floating through, we've got Kosi and Macca pinch hitting, we've got the best damn forward line in the comp.
I like dreaming...coz dreaming can make Fev mine.....
Completely agree it's a total pipedream and will never happen. But god forbid you should stop me from dreaming. I've been dreaming of a premiership for 20 years. That might never happen either.
I say get the "Fev"pay him minimum wage plus$ for goals kicked >one mistake and he is gone>we must have a creditable fwd alternative to Nick this year otherwise this talented group might ride off into the sunset>Fev might be the last piece in a premiership puzzle>We have some youngsters coming through but we need immediate impact, and get our goals for into the 14 to 15 av per week>if Fev could kick 50 we would be close to doing that.
Fortune favours the brave. Put him on a strict water tight contract and what have we got to lose? Cousins would have been a big plus in he 2009 GF; may have been the difference but on draft day, we took the safe option on someone who never got a game.

yeah..but it doesn't favour the stupid....not sure about fev...
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

Fev will come to the saints. Live with it. Great for football doesn't effect us that much. He plays rubbish he is at sandy he plays good he kicks goals for the saints. Storm in a teacup relax.

Especially if we lose Zac, we may need to shuffle a forward back and have a Fevola type as a spearhead.
Basically yes. Fev is a gun who kicks goals and kicks straight.
He is one of the only players that is consistently able to beat opponents in contests and has a great way of knee-ing opposition defenders away to give him more space to mark mid-leap/contest.
Ross Lyon at St Kilda = Fevola 75% to get to Saints
Scott Watters at St Kilda = Fevola 0% to get to Saints
No new coach will stick their neck on the line for him and the potential fall out. Don't be surprised at all to see Fevola pop up at Geelong. Vardy could be in injury trouble and Mooney has retired. The hoops wouldn't look too good on Fevola though.

Or team mates.
They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.
Its attitude towards training and footy that is the question on players.....put simply
are they discipline footballers????
Fraser Gehrig.....you could easily question his discipline towards a few things....
But as a footballer, he presented and prepared his body as professional as anyone going around....and had the mental strength to perform when injured....
Couldnt care less about a players shananigans away from the club (long as its legal) if the perform professionally when the walk through the doors of the LHC
Its insane if we dont we have a huge problem with our tall forwards get him now throw Nick into the ruck if kossie and blake can ruck nick can jump higher than other dudes Mac will need a hand , GIVE FEVOLA THE NUMBER 10 jumper and wrap a rag around his forehead who gives a toss about some late nites and booze , god look at what our angels got up to last pre season
If we end up with Fev .. the headline could be ..
Pelchen lands Belchin' (Fev).
Seriously though - I hope Fev's latest binging episode is an aberration and he gets past his drink problem.

We did take a woman basher....however....at quite a cost
Yes Ben did take Illicit Drugs.....as did Gardy BTW
Ben also won
Rising star award
4 best and fairests
Was an AFL Captain
a premiership
a brownlow
Leigh Matthew Trophy
was 5 time all australian
played 250 afl game
and is an undisputed CHAMPION
LOVETT and FEV for that matter have not achieved that success.....Whilst you can Judge Ben's off field issues....Ill state his on field performance...
When are people going to realise the Ben that ended up at Richmond was VERY different to the Ben that St Kilda would of welcomed.
Didn't you watch the doco?
Us refusing him was what caused him to hit rock bottom, think that his AFL days were actually over, reassess where his life was going, and actually learn the defenition of humility.
You just can't cut out the Tigers Ben and paste it in at St Kilda.
