Are you aware that he wasn't even living there? He was coaching them via Skype, on the internet, during the week. Not even close to ideal, so that was never likely to last long.Con Gorozidis wrote:Cool punch ons with his kid every school holidays.

from those words used by Caro and the general process that is taking place- ( he hasn't been anounced even though others have- so not first choices for the positions already being)
and that Scott/ Chris and Simon have both said that the Director of Academy position is being advertised
ASSUMPtion- taking into account some on here's reservations- he is not being considered for that position but mainly as a sounding board senior assistant...( as I read the insinuations)
or he will need to follow the process and prove he is worthy of it - just a second option...... to thinking

How that was allowed to happen is beyond me. You would also think Laidley would have a problem with it too.AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:Are you aware that he wasn't even living there? actually laidley wanted to stay home with his family, but port wanted him to stay on, and he was willing to do it on a part time basis (part time being the time he spent in ADL each week... Port allowed this as they wanted to keep him on, heard him discussing the scenario on radio during the year..3rd generation saint wrote:Simple St Pav, Port couldn't afford to have him full time.

I can verify personally that he was travellling to Adelaide during the week because I saw him a few times in the Lounge in Adelaide Airport.BonoRocks wrote:actually laidley wanted to stay home with his family, but port wanted him to stay on, and he was willing to do it on a part time basis (part time being the time he spent in ADL each week...
