I totally agree with everyone else's comments re Xavier.

Apart from his undoubted talent on the footy field, he was a great bloke and did wonderful welfare work for local Kooris. Given that, it may be worth trying to get him back to the club to be an (indigenous) development officer- to help out Terry Milera. And who knows, there may be some more indigenous guys we recruit to the club in the national and pre-season drafts.

It would be nice if he came back to the club in some capacity. He would deffinatly be suited to a role in development.

we didn't 'let him go' just couldn't match what the lions offered- 2 years.
but was a classy departure......

Are you a vegetarian,do you like fishing,do you disaprove of people who come from a Culture of Hunter,Gatherers.
Are you being a bit hypocritical or over squeamish.
Very interested to read your justification for attacking the character of a good man going about his oudoor recreations on his traditional lands.

BIG CALL! I hope you're right tho!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

I felt sorry for the guy ,as his body just packed up on him but when he was fit his indiscision and lack of confidence annoyed me he always looked worried when he had the ball and he useally coughed it up . But hey they say hes a cool guy , Shooting things suck as guns suck me thinks

One of my favourites.

The image of him soaring above the pack v Geelong in 2003 is one of my all-time favourites. Back page of the Herald Sun - wish I'd kept it.

Definitely make room for him in a community or indigenous development role, he can contribute so much in this area.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Pick up X as a mature age rookie what do we have to loose we know what a champion player and person he is.

I know he may not come up but we go worse if we could get him right 4 to 5 years left maybe, its worth a try.

Hell if we can put robert eddy and mini on the rookie list why not X!!!
