IRELAND have identified Australian goalsneak Stephen Milne as a major factor in Friday's opening International Rules Series clash in Melbourne.
Ireland's Colm Begley, a former Brisbane and St Kilda player, says the tourists kept an eye on Tuesday's trial game between Australia and an Irish ex-pat side.

"Stephen Milne he has played it before. He has had a great AFL career and he's still going very strong.

"He's a player who can adapt to the round ball very well. He's very quick and agile.

"He's a very clever player where he positions himself around the goals. I'm sure he'll be one of the target men for them and he did very well in the trial game they had at Etihad Stadium.

"He'll be one to watch.
