CJ deserves a spot on the list. His disposal looks poor but it's not great. More average.plugger66 wrote:Well who do you think should be delisted? I do agree it is a joke someone said CJ. Seriously losing a 22 game player that actually gets the ball even if his disposal is poor will not help the side at all.gringo wrote:I'm really surprised about the players people want delisted. Most are the core of our mid tier players. Delisting Raph, Jones, dawson, polo, Peake etc. seems ridiculous. These guys got us to a couple of GFs (most). Polo was handy as back up and will probably improve with a year settling in. I agree that we are likely to see one of our guys walk over the fact that we will want to pay them less. Dawson is the most likely.
Players being told of Delistings-Monday????

Delistings will probably come from players like smith and Cahill, heyne etc. They are the most vulnerable because they have been there a while and haven't shown much. smith is in danger because he was played and lost his place. Even guys like Simpkin and Stanley must be close to the chopping block if they are assessed as unlikely prospects.PJ wrote:With Lenny returning and hopefully a fit Ledger, Steven and Armo our midfield should be much stronger. Polo would be an option to delist but I'd prefer to keep him as backup.
I'd be happy to see pick #25 go for the best available mid to keep improving this area.
I just can't see how Gamble can add to our list.
Outs: Gamble, Cahill, Johnson & ????
1 of the middle tier could walk if their chop in pay is too heavy.
Polo and geary should be safe as they played out the year, Gamble may get one more year to show something as he had an ok patch of games with out starring.

I find it interesting people say Gamble should be delisted. He was played as our 2nd tall most times when in fact he is only a 3rd tall.
Gamble: 11 games, averaging 11.76 possessions, 4.5 marks, 1 goal, 2 tackles per game.
Put that into perspective:
Kosi: 13 games, 11.31 possessions, 5 marks, 1.1 goals, 1.6 tackles
Siposs: 5 games, 6.6 possessions, 3 marks, 1 goal, 1.4 tackles
Schneider: 21 games, 17 possessions, 4.6 marks, 1.4 goals, 3.76 tackles
I know people will say stats mean nothing but thing with Gamble is he was marked down as a "recycled hack" when he first walked in the door by so many and no matter what he did it was never enough. I think he did enough to go around again, and hopefully if he gets another crack Watters will actually play him as 3rd tall, not the bloody 2nd one.

Had a look on twitter to see if any of the players had been tweeting about being delisted.
Didn't see anything, but found this 'supporter' message to Raph.
@raphc8 might take some time out and work on your discussion making and your foot skills. #justathought #saintsfooty
Can you believe it, even if you don't agree with someone being in the side, surely you don't take to sending hate messages directly to a player like that.
oh, and it's decision making, fool.

Does the #saintsfooty indicate an orange tinge to this "advice"?SainterK wrote:Had a look on twitter to see if any of the players had been tweeting about being delisted.

Siposs is the man for the job you describe. Gamble is a dud, he can't even keep his boots in good order.stkildathunda wrote:I find it interesting people say Gamble should be delisted. He was played as our 2nd tall most times when in fact he is only a 3rd tall.

heard four are already gone and have been told......
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
