Highlight of the day goes to Dooley!

When given a handball 10 metres out directly in front, could have ran into a open goal, instead stayed stationary looking to dish off a handball before doing a u turn, snapping and missing!! Haha classic

mate i had no intention of having an impact on the game and was still in recovery mode from the night before. when the ball landed in my hands so many thoughts were going through my head, and had people calling for the ball when i was standing infront of an open goal, literally 3m out. Dont ask why i snapped it either.
But made up for it a few minuts later.

theres no such thing as positions in saintsational footy. you just go where you want. i think at one stage we had about 11 of out 16 in the forward line.

There was definitely no stage where we had 6 in the backline....in fact if the other team managed to get it fwd we were horribly outnumbered...

perhaps we were employing the fwd press....without realising...

absolutely NO defensive running done by the mids....too hot for that.....just hope the ball gets chunked back and get a cheat kick on the rebound....a beautiful thing

not even sure we had 4 midfielders, at least three times I went for the ruck with massively outnumbered rovers....

we were a free wheeling, offensive grant thomas style outfit......hence starting each quarter well, then complete disorganisation became a factor..

BTW - I am really sore today, my hamstrings are screaming at me...
