Don't have this guy pegged for a position yet - seems he could almost go anywhere on the field ATM.

Could he add to the midfield or is he more a forward?

I liked his two goals a game cameos but he'd only get about 8 possessions. Mind you often a sub.

If Saad can play forward then maybe bak flank for Crippa.

Agree with the above - it would be nice for a change to have half back flankers that can not only run, but bring good kicking and decision-making to the role.

......sounds like a rhyming slang euphemism.

i'm hoping he can get a bit of a run on the ball at times next year. he's a flea but he looks quick when he gets it.

Could be a bun fight between the young players for a spot next year (and the old too I guess) and versatility could get you a shot. He does seem to have a pretty good idea where the goals are but I'd love to see him get that shot in the middle on occasions.

I'm hopeful he can play like steele sidebottom.

From the WAFL reports around when he was drafted, he was mostly used as a half back, but got some midfield time where he had a habit of kicking goals.

Listening to Watters, he said something about using Cripps and Ledger at both ends. So maybe he'll get some time at both, and in the midfield.

He has a bit to go I think....beside the odd 'joe the goose' and 'right place at the right' time goals....he did not win much footy (ones and twos) and definitely did not win his own ball...

He is a supposedly a good runner and a good kick....not convinced about the latter....

I think Siposs and Ledger really impressed....especially Ledger...finds the footy naturally..

I've yet to see this 'good kicking' in the AFL or VFL. He shanks it a lot. I know when he was drafted, the reports said he was a good kick, but he hasn't shown it yet.

Hope he can improve in this aspect.

His durability is also a concern....I watched him a couple of times in the VFL and after every contest he got injured and needed treatment and never completed any game I saw

I agree that ledger is ready to go.
Cripps still a development player.

Bit early to call.

Was diagnosed with diabetes just after being drafted and then suffered the leg injury and associated compartment syndrome issues.

Let's see how he goes if we can get him right.

He has had one year in the AFL. Surely if he was any good one year is enough to prove it.

Which is why I said he had a bit to go...not sure anyone has put a line through him atm....because whilst he showed a bit....he was not that impressive as yet...

Young Crocker has further to go

he has plenty of time on his side

If you recruit 12 you will have 12

I think Ledger has shown more than cripps at this early stage - purely due to his attack on the contest and ability to win the ball.

He has done very well with limited opportunity (Lyin) and some bad luck. I see him as a half fwd or half back. Maybe a little fyfe like up fwd with cameos in the middle??

Currently I rak the young guns:

1) Ledger (by a mile)
2) Siposs (his ball use was spectacular)
3) Cripps (right place / right time - lucky?)

I also really rate Tom Simpkin.

yep agree.

wouldlove to see Sippos up the ante this year and really get into more contests - I mean, his kicking is that deadly that 3or 4 marks from this guy inside/around fwd 50 = goals. Thats why hes so potent. He's done some smart things Ive noticed in play also.....skill is there.....just need to uo the effort/consistency.

Cripps has been lucky re some goals BUT hes taken the chances and thats all you can ask.

Simpkin I honestly dont know at this stage.

Must say Im looking fwd to seeing Crocker......one day.....a deadly left footer in the side is always welcome......pray that Stanley steps it up this season...
