melbourne played the whole thing beautifully. the presser on freo's site is gold!!!
Bahahaha, follows the Clark determined to be a Docker. Someone should edit it. Nice hard ball oddball. F%^$ing rabble of an admin, joke club, turd coach. Have fun with all the disappointment and low scores.

sorry, i am being a little vindictive here,
I think it's terrific.
I was astounded when Fremantle put out a press conference quoting Mitch Clarke when he was still a contracted Brisbane player demanding his wish to get to Fremantle...umm what happened? Nice about face...money talks...
Melbourne alsopaying huge dollars over 4 yrs and from what Ive read elsewhere while Clarke is a talent - he's prone to laziness and telling the coach where he will be playing....

Freo mad to come anywhere near it
24 hrs ago Clark to Freo family over there too important..........money (the amount) changed that.
If Freo offered Brisbane the pick they initially wanted (their pick 16) it would've been done for less money...Fremantle tried to play hardball & got shafted.
Also happy if Melbourne paid over the odds - helps inflate their cap in future years.
word is freo have been absolute assholes this year at the trade table. pushing their weight around. apparently alot of clubs will be very happy to see whats happened.

I wonder if any of their future press releases will feature quotes from opposition players.

They have the super Judas asshole as their coach.
As good at trades as investments. a bit of karma from a super prick.

Martin is apparently one to watch and was expected to be their main man in the future. He would be feeling pretty put out right about now. Smart guy too apparently.

we'll get a ruckman in the draft using a 70+ pick.
problem is going to find KPP and fast midfielders with good footskills
I think we will have to hope one of Cripps, ledger or crocker come on as we cant afford anyone a grade. KPP will need to come from our current list or be a freak pick up too. I hope we can keep Dawson as a forward. Otherwise there is the big dumb guy with a gambling problem that would come for loose change.

Stewie Lowe repeatedly tried to convince St Kilda to draft Martin around 2004 when he was playing for his local club. Would have been good if they listened. But I imagine he might be looking elsewhere soon, because he's not gonna get a gig with three giants already in the team in Jamar, Clark and Watts.

For up and coming KPPs...
we've got Walsh, Cahill and Johnson all showing decent form at Sandy
Simpkin down back
+ Stanley too... not too worried about that personally
we are really short on rucks though
Walsh wants to go to Sydney..Cahill and Johnson as KPP's would leave our opposition in hysterics...
Even the club hasn't worked out what to do with Stanley...how come so many are deluding themselves about our KPP stocks....amazing really...lets hope Watters has a grip on reality..
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?
