I think it is a crappy on sell. Like buying a used car for 50k, doing 2000kms in it in two years and selling it for 12k.

Played his best footy last year across half back for Sandy. Composed, solid and good disposal. Never truly showed it at senior level but it is a crappy return on a big investment.

He could be a starting player for Adelaide.

Pick 37 in this draft blows.

Can only hope they have their eye on someone.

Hate to say it, but this one is truly a Ross Lyon failure.
Yeah well it definitely didn't pan well, although the issue is where he was drafted that have made it a failure..should never have been taken where he was. It was a definite mistake.

Agree, I know for sure that on Monday Arvo he intended on being at Saints next year. He had heard nothing from his manager or other clubs.

How fast things can change for these players!

Totally agree Bigred played some good footy down at Sandy on the HBF, then was brought into the first team playing forward which i thought was very strange. Then dislocated a finger, then received a severe concussion playing back at Sandy. So i believe we did not see his full potential.

I think he wanted more opportunity to play senior footy and could not see that happening at the Saints in the near future.

The question is will this bite us in the ass later down the track and how many kids have we pushed away due to not having the opportunities?

I find this as rather stinging hook to Ross Lyon.

Quote from Lynch's manager

"[Crows coach] Brenton Sanderson has spoken to him, and that's been a breath of fresh air."

I am starting to ask myself, "just how much damage has Ross Lyon done to this club?"

I heard this time last year from a good source that those not in the starting 22 were treated like "second class citizens" so hearing this sort of comment does not surprise me at all.

Swapped a dud for pick 37. The worst that can happen is that we get another dud.

Let's move on. Lyon failed the young kids. Can't blame the club for dealing with the fallout now.

Imagine the damage if this fool had've stayed around for the last 12 months of his contract and then done the "dollar dash"

Dont get these comments at all. RL has gone so what has he got to do with Lynch. Or are people saying Lynch didnt know he had gone. We still do this with GT, now it is RL turn. If anything happens from now on it is RL fault. My guess is he wanted to go but I am also guessing Pelchan had bugger all interest in him staying.

Renouf went to Port for pick 33, and he has a shiny medal in his pool room.

Exactly right. GT did what he thought was best to win us a flag. RL did what he thought was best to win us a flag. Neither of them wanted to get anything wrong.

37 for Lynchy doesn't look so bad in comparison. Too bad pick 13 turned into pick 37 after 3 years, but that's what happens I guess...less injuries, better form and a debut against anyone else but Fletcher, it may have been different. He might be another Zac Dawson given a new lease of life, or he might be nothing.

I think you are right Plugger he did want go. Joining the dots would you think the managers comment could be a reflection of how Tom felt he was treated by Ross Lyon?
