I still think it could be a win win for tom and the saints. he gets opportunity we unload a mid sized forward that Ross overstocked on. Was going to struggle with less rebounding defenders and mid sized forwards needed. He may even be a Kennedy but i can honestly say that I have no hard feelings about him moving and wish him all the best.
We needed pace and a ruckman and i think his spot will go to a surprise pick ruckman. Hopefully Pelican has some guy that is 7 foot tall and 110 kgs somewhere on his watch list, hopefully that no one else has seen.

Whatever it is, you would hope they have a plan for it. Pick 37 seems like poor value.SainterK wrote:Hmm, what is pick 37 being used for?

Yeah, I got this wrong sorry, I was looking at times alone, there were a few above him who'd recorded the same time so he ended up being equal 12th, but with 7th or 8th best time if that makes sense?InkerSaint wrote:He was 12th in repeat sprints at the combine, the only tall forward ahead of him was Jack Watts. And 9th in the beep test. Slow as a wet week? What happened to this guy?St Ick wrote:Don't quite understand it, I did end up finding some stats on his year, pretty depressing really....vacuous space wrote:Why would Adelaide spend a second round pick on the slowest player ever? He can't run, kick, he's weak, he can't mark. Yep - must be on his way out if SS is saying such nasty things about him.
For the record, he was in sandy's best 7 times out of twelve. SS darling Tommy Walsh was in the best 8 times in seventeen games... IMO Adelaide are getting a steal out of this one.
Good luck to Tom, I'll blame Ross, but Ross isn't here and doesn't care so we will suffer for your predicted good form in the future. All the best champ.

It doesn't but I don't rate Gamble either - so if he's getting a game ahead of Lynch..or a first year player in Sipposs...then to me, it shows where our club rated him.saintjake wrote:Being a geelong discard this decade isn't a bad thing when they won 3 out of 4 flags they played in.

He must have really wanted to go.
I think it is a crappy on sell. Like buying a used car for 50k, doing 2000kms in it in two years and selling it for 12k.
Played his best footy last year across half back for Sandy. Composed, solid and good disposal. Never truly showed it at senior level but it is a crappy return on a big investment.
He could be a starting player for Adelaide.
Pick 37 in this draft blows.
Can only hope they have their eye on someone.
Hate to say it, but this one is truly a Ross Lyon failure.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
