Oh please. FFS give me a break.
It probably isn't us becuase of our salary cap position. We are struggling to find room for players let alone sign new ones.
North, Bulldogs and Melbourne need a FF more than we do.
There is no way the board would approve this anyway.

An let me add that this might not even be true. Might just be trying to stir up some interest when there is zero interest.

Rookie list him.
Give him a 1 year "no stuff ups" deal and see how he goes. Pay him the base wage and put it to him that a spot on the main list is avaliable if he keeps out of strife and performs well.
Even better give him a young player to mentor, therefor he is not just responsible for himself but for the future of a young kid too.

Two minutes later Dal puts it lace out inside 50 to a leading.....Tommy Walsh!!!!! He takes a great contested mark, but quickly handballs it to an open Siposs in the goalsquare who slots it through for a lovely team goal

But surely Hayden Ballantyne has sprinted down from the Freo backline to lay a superb tackle on Siposs before the kid gets boot to ball.SainterK wrote:Edited for accuracy

Then Ballantyne and McPharlin spend the next 28 minutes playing kick to kick across half back. Siren sounds for quarter time

Board needs to step in if this is true. Seriously from a PR perspective - this is bordering on absolute neglicence. Potential sponsors will see this as very high risk - and they wont want to associate their brand with another scandal.
The press will have a field day citing our "culture" and trawl up all the rubbish from our past .. its a PR disaster wating to happen. There will be a whole bunch of gutter journo's on "Fev watch" if he came to us - just waiting for him to have 1 slip - no matter how minor.
Given that the guy is a serial d!ckhead, its inevitable that there will be a slip us somewhere along the line - and you know what - dont think for a second that the journos wont go to print on the slightest sniff of a slip up - not checking any facts, just straight to print. Case in point - look at all the stuff that was printed about Reiwoldt and KD being in the same room for that photo - and yet he was/is squeeky clean.
