At least some good news
I'm listening to SEN and in relation to the earthquake in Bali the Saints players who are currently over there are safe.
Apparenlty Sam Fisher twittered that they all are ok. (thank goodness)

could be the announcement of our new coach?ozrulestrace wrote:No, you're right, but I am holding my breath with Sen dropping hints that Robbo is working on a reaallly biiig story to be published tomorrow in the Hun.
Just as long as it doesn't relate to this football club and hits someone else between the eyes.

No I got the sense it will be shock horror news relating to someone somewhere. Let's hope it north of the Yarra.SaintSimmo wrote:could be the announcement of our new coach?ozrulestrace wrote:No, you're right, but I am holding my breath with Sen dropping hints that Robbo is working on a reaallly biiig story to be published tomorrow in the Hun.

I got that impression too....that it was something pretty big...so big in fact that he couldn't come in for his regular thurs night spot.ozrulestrace wrote:No I got the sense it will be shock horror news relating to someone somewhere. Heard rumour that the story might be big betting on footy related ... with insider connections ... source is not always reliable as he is in the media!
AwayInUSA no longer ... have based myself back in Melbourne for a decade of Saintsational Success (with regular trips back to the USA)

Not reading much about it in the media.ozrulestrace wrote:An earthquake/tremor in Bali over the past couple of hours.
I'm quoting Channel 10 news but at this stage 50 people hurt but Frank and Ox said some of the Saints players were there and then read Sam Fisher's twitter to say they're all ok.
As if something couldn't go wrong with this club this year!
Are we sure it was actually an earthquake?
Maybe Darren Jarman's flight just landed at Denpasar.

There was in fact a magnitude 6.1 earthquake on the coast of Bali.Dr Spaceman wrote:Not reading much about it in the media.ozrulestrace wrote:An earthquake/tremor in Bali over the past couple of hours.

I know Collingwood's Travis Cloke is in Bali and he said he was alright.
