I think the key here is the part where it's says "Tommy preference would be to stay with the saints " ..... It's trade week of course his manager would befielding calls ... We wont trade him and once all the to and fro from this week is done he will get a contract

What a stupid comment .... How on earth did we cope with Plugger leaving for the swans ?? You wont renew if we Tommy walks ... Get real !!!defacto wrote:this. i will not renew my membership.sainterinsydney wrote:If Tommy Walsh is poached, St Kilda may as well just fold. I'm serious about this. If we let this guy get picked up by another club, after putting all that work into him, we are a disgrace.

This is just my idea and not a rumour or anything, but why aren't clubs making a play for Majak Daw? North have Goldstein, McIntosh, Petrie and Daw (who its been said does his best albeit inconsistent work in the ruck).
With the sub rule, they cant play all 4, why hasn't Daw's name been brought up? If our Tommy Walsh can be inquired about without a game to his name, why wouldn't we try to find our ruck that we need over at North?

Lynch is contracted for next year...confirmed by List manager (Bains??) on SEN tonight.lefty wrote:Dempster, what about Blake? Peake?SainterK wrote:Pask also says we have 14 uncontracted players.
Raph, Farren, Zac, Dawson, Gamble, Lynch.
Who else ?
Imo, #1 player to re-sign atm is Dempster followed by Peake.
I would think you could also add Walsh, Polo, as well
then you would think a few of the others that aren't regular senior players
Archer? Johnson?

No-one wants Gram - he is known to be a lightweight.

If we are to get Salary Cap releif we will probably ONLY trade (our) players for (their) picks. The only other option would be to de-list players AFTER 2.00pm tomorrow
How tight the cap is how much relief want/need would only be "accurately" known by a chosen few.
Tomorrow could be an interesting day !!

North made offers. Carlton made inquiries. He is a wanted player on our list. Blues and Roos both want and need a running defender, which Gram should be not a midfielder.ace wrote:No-one wants Gram - he is known to be a lightweight.

My new rumour is Peake to Essendon for a pick.

Don't worry, thin air, no substance at all, I heard Thompson saying that they were trying to get a few trades done, thought they might look at Peake?Old Mate wrote:Where'd you hear the Peake rumour?dragit wrote:He will go to one of those,Hurricane wrote:North made offers. I think we will lose more players for cap room today, & most probably those on the wrong side of 25.
