The deal seems to have been completed officially! Nice work, Pelchen! Saad is definitely a great talent, although I don't know much of Milera...

You're onto something Gill. The fact that we've picked up two players prior to the draft suggests that there's some deals to move some of our older / fringe types on for picks.#1GILL wrote:I might be wrong but it now seems obvious to me that St Kilda will try to use pick 25 along with a player to move up in the draft.
Ie- Jason Gram + 25 to North for 18
- Jason Gram + 25 to Essendon for 19
- Tom Lynch + 25 + 42 to Adelaide for 14 + 53
These are just armchair suggestions obviously.
What also excites me is the age of these guys. They fill the gaps. After this years draft we'll have plenty of 18-20 year olds and guys in the mid to late 20's - these guys fit right in the middle.

Loved those highlights of Terry thanks, good mover, used his body well considering his light frame.
I like a bit of x-factor
I am honestly so ready for 2012 already, I just reckon we're going to be in for a really exciting season.
Seeing some kids debut, guys playing in different positions, some senior guys hopefully feeling better than the last couple of years.
Bring it on!

The mini-rebuild is not the right way to go I'm afraid. It will again all end in tears and when Geelong win another flag the same old crap will be said again.matrix wrote:wearing number 44 as well
the future looks alright

I hope they do.ThePunter wrote:GWS have moved pick 20 on to Freo for the Palmer compensation pick.
Freo now have picks 16 & 20, which could be used for Mitch Clark.
I also hope we make a play for Zac Clarke by (easily) convincing him he won't get much opportunity under Ross as he'll behind Sandi, Griffin and Clark.

Zac Clarke would be a great ready made and CHEAP option to have running at second ruck.

Would not be cheap at all. Not sure what we could offer that would satisfy the Dockers, but it would need to be a lot. Clarke has shown heaps of promise.Hurricane wrote:So do I SainterK.SainterK wrote:I hope they do.ThePunter wrote:GWS have moved pick 20 on to Freo for the Palmer compensation pick.

Can't see anyone working him out of Freo.
