Even in the second GF he played the game out with a broken shoulder. People have very short memories. Silly what he did but that doesnt make him the dud many have pointed out on here.IluvHarvey wrote:And don't forget his efforts in the dying seconds of the Drawn GF in 2010 on the wing.SENsaintsational wrote:That comment just shows that for all your bluster and bullying that you have zero knowledge of football. Grammy still has plenty to offer when he gets his body right. I can't believe how the fans have turned on him after one below average year. He has been a very good player before that. He wasn't right after last years finals and hopefully we can get him right to go for 2012. People rant on a fan forum and say crazy s*** about stuff they know nothing about then bag him for saying some off the cuff comment. Next week everyone will be bagging the players for not being open with the fans.

And he did have the Lovett saga to deal with also.
If the new coach has faith in him well that'll be good enough for me.
And you can tweet me on that

We should maybe wait to see his result in the time trial before we have him hung, drawn and quartered for his lack of commitment to the cause.
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

JG was a valuable contributor because his attitude used to be; "I'd better work my ass off now that Saints gave me a second chance at an AFL career!!" Let's see if he wants to continue working his butt off, or whether he takes that second chance for granted...
It's a clean sheet from here...Pelchen and the new coach shouldn't be influenced by player cliques and by past glory either.

Jason is valuable, because we don't have many of his types.
There are three kinds of posters in this thread, those defending him, those bagging his tweet and those bagging him.
For the record, I think his tweet was silly and not great timing wise, and it's the second silly thing he has put out in the public domain this year.
I'd like to feel I can say so without being labelled negative, or without that saying I think he is an ordinary footballer.

I don't know. R u on b/w 300-400k a year? Do you have 40,000 interested persons curious about how you conduct yourself and how you'll perform in your job next year? R u a celebrity? If the answer is yes to all those questions then I'd suggest you are either very brave or very stupid airing your views on a social network site - just like Grammy (who btw I do not hold views as strong as others about his position in the team, or have a question mark over his intestinal fortitide, I simply don't like what he said PUBLICLY)IluvHarvey wrote:A month ago when I was on Annual Leave I got called in to come and do some work one day. I just don't know how anyone can give a s*** about the tweets of a footballer. Grammy can play footy but as most footy players he lives a pretty sheltered existence. If he has 40000 wanting to read about everything he does it's a sad indictment on our society.Moods wrote:I don't know. R u on b/w 300-400k a year?
