Fevola with that sir?
The "lets grab Fev NOW" threads seem a wee bit thin on the ground right now, so for old times sake...here we go again!

But if we got Meatloaf, imagine how big they could make their logo on the back of his jumperdragit wrote:Maybe we could pay him in Centrebet credits?SainterK wrote:If we get Fev, I reckon Centrebet will drop us because we're not good for their image
He could be like the Juddy of Centrebet, 'gambling ambassador'
WIN/WIN*
I would like us to leave a rookie spot for him until March. The same as Hawks did with Travis Tuck this year.
Offer 1 year minimum wage contract, with 1 chance only (Made very public). Then trains with us from December till March. If he doesn't slip up, worth a shot IMO.
I think this would leave a big window of time to gauge sponsors, supporters, etc.
This is provided we are reloading for another premiership tilt in the next Two years.
Can be win/win IMO

can't believe supporters wouldn't want fev in their side - we're in the business of winning premierships, not pleasing sponsors. if he slips up we cut him, no harm no foul.. one of the most talented footballers i've seen, could flourish with a third chance. we got torched by taking lovett and NOT cousins.. nothing to lose IMHO

If they pick up Fev it will be because they believe we are still going for it. That will be a good sign in my opinion. I don't care either way and back Pelchen's ability to make the big calls to improve a list. When he got Burgoyne I thought he was too old, Gibson too short, Hale was always missing but all have been inspired choices and better than Peake, Polo and Gamble who have all been introduced onto our list in the same period. I'm not saying those guys are bad just comparitively not as good.
Picking up F.ebola is a sign the club has given up and is trying desperate measures.
picking up F.ebola = just giving up.
more mileage in Ling IMO, better ethic and better player from a retired player like him than the virus.
