Cameron and Simpson have been reported to being committed to Hawthorn.
Hinkley is odds on favourite to win the job.
Ill post more once I find out more.

This rumour has about as much credibility as all the other rumours flying around here lately !!HSVKing wrote:I heard a rumour that Eastern WILL shout at all home matches next year.
Usually lots of babble and crap, but instead of doing that at the bar by himself, will be opening the wallet and dragging a couple lucky folk along with him.
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

So many folks with Insider knowledge - yet many different outcomes...
IF any of Ray, Peake, Dawson and Lynch are to be traded to the Docker, it should be in exchange for Barlow + DP. (he did pre-season with the Saints in 2009 but was overlooked)
Also the Saints may look to trade a player or mid-range DP for handy utility Rohan Bail from Melb (another who trained with the Saints in 2009)

carlton try to escape cheatin history
[quote="Hurricane"]Goddard to Carlton
Bj didn't reach the blues due to their cheatin ways. They had their draft pick taken off them as punishment.
I love Brendan at the Saints. I still think that with Dal, Rooey and Bj on board St.Kilda will make the finals again but a decent and serious pre-season is vital to have any chance of a top-4 slot.
Something to remember.
as well as all his other attributes Bj can and does kick decent long range goals.
He's Stayin!
GOOD ON YA BRENDAN !
GO SAINTS!

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

In amongst the Goddard to Carlton and Malthouse on Wednesday posts it's hard to keep track of the rumours that have any substance to them.

I am thinking Lyin will try a "raid" on us the same way he did on Sydney when we picked up Schnider and Dempster on the cheap.
Rumours doing the rounds that I have read are:
Dawson, Ray, Peake, Jones and Clarke are all wanted by Lyin at Freo to mplay his precious "roles"
They may/should/will offer us
Silvagni, Clarke, Muzungu, Morabito as Ro$$ does not rate any of them (especially Silvagni and Clarke) and/or draft picks.
Not reliable but if we could snag Zac Clarke and Alex Silvagni we would be looking ok

damn i'd like some of those freo players however extremely unlikely that we'll get any of them. you may as well chuck fyfe in for good measure.Hurricane wrote:I am thinking Lyin will try a "raid" on us the same way he did on Sydney when we picked up Schnider and Dempster on the cheap.

but geez even offloading clarke or dawson for their second rounder, pick 38 would be gold.
maybe a similar package to that of dempster and schneider? clarke and dawson for their compo pick or pick 16 depending on which one they have left after the mitch clark trade.
ross will surely pay overs for his 'role' players.
