We need a full forward, so whoever can fill that role is worth chasing..Hawkins is more like a tall flanker.

His thighs and buttocks aren't that good imo. Otherwise would offer Goddard for him.

NO!

No more recycled players, go for youth, I reckon we need a power forward and a big backman.

I'm with DBD on this one.

Far too little emphasis on the physical appearance of our players in recent years.

We yearn for the days of Barks and Michael Roberts cutting a scythe through the social club on Saturday night.

Surely this is one of the great traditions of the St Kilda football club.

All of this emphasis on recruiting outsiders with pace, in and unders with grunt, talls with smarts puts us at risk of loosing touch with our roots.

What's wrong with High cheekbones, peroxide blonde hair, blue eyes and, yes, firm buttocks for a recruiting strategy!

Don't be posting anything witty so late at night you naughty dog. I was scratching my head about your uncharacteristically dumb suggestions

Are we talking about Hawkins and Kerr of the Jen and Miranda variety

Hawkins is hopeless, very hopeless

I heard Kerr has had a baby will the kicking still have the same penetration?

If you want buttocks we should recruit Williams or Knowles, they could stretch the back pocket of any team.

OK, we'll have Hawkins, thanks. And Vardy, Menzel, Duncan and Christensen.

Christiansen, I think she was getting around in the 90s. But the little smart arse from the cats was awesome too - I would pay heaps to sign him up as well.

He was never going to be up for trade anyway.

I'd have had him though, said that all along. 8-)

Hawkins played very well today no doubt.

However not every week will he get to play on an injury restricted opponent.
