I have decided that i am the bad omen
Here is why i say this every team i support goes to the waistside
St.Kilda - History of Mediocrity
Utah Jazz - Always there abouts but never able to take the next step
St.Louis Cardinals - Started watching baseball about 4 seasons ago but they are always on the fringe of playoffs
Fulham - Middle To relegation premier league side
Pittsburgh Penguins - One of a few teams that have won something in my time although Crosby is out indefinatley with concussion
Indiannopolos Colts - got burned big time when ironically they lost the superbowl to the saints. Also Peyton Manning may never play again so could be struggle town for a while.
SO i was thinking maybe i should by a collingwood membership next year and they should fail

Don't give them your money. If you are sure, maybe cheer for them for a year.Marcus1232 wrote:SO i was thinking maybe i should by a collingwood membership next year and they should fail
I myself could never hope for the pies to win.

on their banner saturday the Pies are going to put the name of every supporter they have apparently about 212,000- how do they know the names of all those people when only 70,000 are signed up.

I'm glad you're a Fulham fan mate!! Good to see another with the Saints-Fulham connection!! Think it's a bit harsh on the mid table/relegation category, as we haven't seriously been threatened with relegation since the Great Escape year!!Marcus1232 wrote:Here is why i say this every team i support goes to the waistside

I'm also a Phoenix Suns man in the NBA, so I know all about having great teams that just can't quite get it done!! I understand the way you feel!!
The Saints are coming!

hahha...I choose teams on purpose that struggle for success like the saints....
such as the Minnesota Vikings...never won a super bowl
Parma in the Italian Seria A...Never won a title...although they have won a UEFA cup....
New York Knicks....won a couple titles back in the 70's but thats about it....
dunno why I didn't choose to go for New Orleans in the NFL....ah well...I don't care about those teams the only one I care about is St Kilda....
One day...one day

As far as football goes I think I might be the bad omen of the last 3 years.
On top of St.Kilda's GF defeats...
In 2010 the club I played for made it to the Grand Final, only to be narrowly beaten on the big day. To make matters worse, the under 18's lost as well.
This year I moved to a different club, we finished miles clear on top of the ladder in both seniors and reserves, only for both sides to lose by decent margins on the big day.
A week later I went to watch a friend play in a reserves Grand Final for side that was undefeated for the season, they lost by 3 pts. Their seniors went on to suffer the same fate.

I'm also a Colts fan. Its amazing how while they have been up around the top the Saints have also been up there. And now they both seem likely to be on the way down. At least they managed to win a Super Bowl.Marcus1232 wrote:Here is why i say this every team i support goes to the waistside
