I'm so angry at Bruce McEvaney

Post: # 1150906Post markinUSA »

As Dal said he would finish his beer, McEvaney made a slur about him doing that and St Kilda's "culture". I was irate.

Dirty little slur from a man gerserving very little respect.

Tom may be in some danger after Bruce is finished with his bathroom mirror.

He said after NDS said he wasn't going to win so he would finish his beer that it was "spoken like a true Saint"

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

He also said after Dane Swan was interview earlier in the night "Spoken like a True Dane Swan" What the hell does that mean?

I wouldn't read to much into Bruce's comments last night he struggled all night. Even with AD's often balls ups and Richo's inappropriate comments, Bruce was by far Worst on Ground last night.

Yes, i saw it too. Nick said he didn't think he would win and was just enjoying the rest of his beer. Bruce then said "spoken like a true saint". I thought he was congratulating him on being a good sport etc. Well, at least i hope that is what he meant .

Waiting somewhat patiently. When it comes, another St Kilda Premiership will be all the sweeter for the wait. GO SAINTS ! ! !

Are you serious? He probably was referring to Nicky Dal being magnanimous about Dane Swan winning. You’re reading too much into it.

Sensetive pettle.

Yeah, I'm probably being too sensitive. Got a lot of bad stuff going on.

yeah, not offended. now if he said "spoken like a true saint, as long as you follow it up with another 15 beers and finish the night in the clink" then i may not be that happy about it.

If Broooooce was going to make a "witty" comment about our "culture" it's probably best it was in reference to beer.

What with all the scantily clad girlies in the room and all

I thought it was rather funny, I even smiled after Bruce said it.....
The comment didn't seem to bother Dal one little bit, I think he knew he wasn't going to beat Swan...

How funny was Dal's fake "Aw damn" reaction when he only got two votes for NM thus confirming he couldn't catch swan

I agree re: Bruce's performance. The acceptance speech inmterview with Dane Swan was nothing short of cringeworthy.
Swan took command of the lectern and stood there with both hands firmly planted and spoke rather well.

Bruce was off to one side making all these quiffy little hand gestures as he made feeble interjections and slinking back and forth as though he was totally intimidated by his prescence.

The body language was quite bizzare.

I'm happy being not happy!

In all seriousness thought the coverage was quite good. But thought Bruce's performance was horrific (nothing to do with the true saint comment).
I found it weird when he wouldn't let go of Swans hand. Swan was clearly uncomfortable with it but Bruce just wouldn't let go.

Oh and the lazy Susan showing off the girls dresses. It really looked tacky.

Mate everyone of your posts are whinging about something so maybe you should have a good look in the mirror. Be careful not to look to hard you will probably get scared.
