Haven't really heard enough about his exploits over there in Perth to know much about his role or how he has helped to develop the Eagles players over there...
The Saints are coming!

Might be a few changed opinions on here if Hinkley is in fact appointed coach.
I would have thought someone with such a strong link to the successful time at Geelong is someone we should look at.
And as for leaving the saints in 01, thats likely linked to the Blight situation seeing he was brought in by him.
We need to look for the best coach available, whoever that is

Oh that's right, wasn't he Blighty's caddy?
Agreed, of course we should seriously consider Hinkley. If he is the best available then get him. Couldn't care less that he left as an assistant 10 years ago....saintnick12 wrote:Might be a few changed opinions on here if Hinkley is in fact appointed coach.

The article I read said Sumich "might think about it" and "would consider applying"
Sounds a bit flakey to me. We need someone with passion not someone undecided like this or a robot fueled by cash like Ro$$

Who are the prima donnas to which you refer, hero?Cairnsman wrote:Suma would be good because he could teach our forwards how to kick.
But seriously we don't need a good coach we just need a really cheap one and he should be good with twitter and Apple Mac technology so he can communicate well with his bunch of prima donnas.

On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Any AFL footballer on more than 100k/annum and under the age of 30, penis eater.Thinline wrote:Who are the prima donnas to which you refer, hero?Cairnsman wrote:Suma would be good because he could teach our forwards how to kick.

Didn't want to start a whole new thread just for this, but that gregarious cheerful excellent media performer Mick Malthouse has thrown Maxxies hat in the ring
Comments?"Maxie Hudghton is the rage at the moment," Malthouse said on Thursday.
"He could be going back home (to St Kilda).
"He could be the one that's the dark horse, or Scott Watters."
Malthouse said the Magpies would adapt if they made next week's grand final, but also lost an assistant coach.
"If Scott or Maxie Hudghton became their senior coach and it happens that quickly, well that's the way it is," he said
You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...
