Milney..?
I heard a horrible whisper yesterday - Milney retiring?
It came from a Carlton fan of unknown reliablity (I don't know the bloke) but it wouldn't surprise me, end of an era and all that.
I hope not. I love what Milney brings to the game and it will be very hard to replace him when he goes. Hopefully the core group will band together and hang in there through a(nother) rough period for the club.
Fortius Quo Fidelius boys. It is just a fleshwound.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

Ill add this one to the list ive gathered over the last couple of days
Goddard is going to Carlton, GWS, Collingwood, Fremantle AND Gold Coast
Lenny has retired
Roo is having mental problems and abandonment issues and has consulted a shrink
Montagna is being traded to Hawthorn for Hale
Fev is already signed to a 4 year deal
Aker is becoming assistant coach
Walsh is going back to Ireland
Gilbert is going to Gold Coast
Several players including Peake, Ray, Jones, Schnides and Lenny want to follow Ro$$ to Freo and have demanded a trade
and probably the dumbest of all
The players have no respect or confidence in Robert Harvey and plan a formal protest if he is hired as coach

Can I add the one someone texted me from Twitter, that Riewoldts knee is causing such chronic pain he has to retire...
You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

I guess that means my poor Pemberton will have to take his chances in the draft....Dr Spaceman wrote:Forget it.Stillwaiting wrote:I hope they give us a good pick for your cat Matrix, would make more sense some of the other stuff we have heardmatrix wrote:rumor i heard was he signed for another year

I knew that running into the wall at the draft combine would cost him...

But is he very tall, maybe we could play him out of the goalsquare and have him leadiing to the flanks. Have to work on his kicking. If we do that then we should be able to trade Goddard, Roo to GWS for some good draft picks.PaytonPlace wrote:I guess that means my poor Pemberton will have to take his chances in the draft....Dr Spaceman wrote:Forget it.Stillwaiting wrote:I hope they give us a good pick for your cat Matrix, would make more sense some of the other stuff we have heardmatrix wrote:rumor i heard was he signed for another year

I don't know that Pemberton would go well with the modern game and the forward press, he does have a tendency to chase his own tail...Dr Spaceman wrote:Well hopefully Pemberton won't end up at Freo in the Draft.Stillwaiting wrote:But is he very tall, maybe we could play him out of the goalsquare and have him leadiing to the flanks. Well I did come in from work and he'd taken another cats squeaky toy off him leaving the other cat standing there looking a bit sad and bewildered...and he did have a very smug smile young Pemberton....Dr Spaceman wrote:He sounds like Robert Eddy.PaytonPlace wrote:I don't know that Pemberton would go well with the modern game and the forward press, he does have a tendency to chase his own tail...Dr Spaceman wrote:Well hopefully Pemberton won't end up at Freo in the Draft.Stillwaiting wrote:But is he very tall, maybe we could play him out of the goalsquare and have him leadiing to the flanks.
