Given that all has gone on at the SAINTS in the past 12 months the new coach must be able to bring -

- Strong loyal character
- Financially sound
- Experience with dealing with medling board members
- Experience in coping with limited resources
- Experienced and loyal support staff
- Able to bring a new sense of vibrancy and belief to team
- Able to develop younger players
- Ensure player development above self interests
- Strength in recruitment
- Ability to make reasoned trade decisions
- Ability to handle media in a positive manner
- Open club and players up to member access
- Understand members are the life blood of the club
- ABOVE ALL implement a more attacking game plan!

Good luck finding someone that ticks all those boxes in our current situation. Journo's have it in for us so we'll always have to deal with bad public perception.
More important for Saints to get solid sponsorship to get out of financial troubles. Who ever we get we will be bottom half of the ladder for a few years. AFL is not for the fans it's a business and it's agenda is to make money that is why the top earning team will always prosper.
